The Norse god Kvasir is born out of peace. When the two warring factions of the Aesir and the Vanir agree to form a truce, they do so with each god spitting into a bowl and stirring the saliva. From this, Kvasir, a new god of knowledge is created. Kvasir embodies all the gods’ knowledge. So great is his knowledge that there is no question he cannot answer.

The middle deck reception lobby area is a great place to get information during your journey. Your Program Director’s desk is located here so that you can easily ask questions or discuss the day’s activities. There are a 24-hour tea and coffee station with a fruit basket and convenient restrooms.

Outdoor Activities

Enjoy sunshine and fresh air while you take in 360 degree views of the scenery. Stand at the railings or relax in a comfortable deck chair. Some of the seating has a canopy for those who prefer shade. The sun deck is adjacent to the Sky Bar and there is an access way to the bridge.
