Norwegian Cruise Line has launched one of its biggest cruise promotions ever. For the first time in the company's history, NCL is offering a Semi Annual Sale with 50% off cruise fares across its entire fleet. On select sailings, guests can also receive free pre paid gratuities, making this one of the strongest cruise deals available this year. Eligible seven night cruises for two start from as little as $280 under the promotion.
The sale was first available to Latitudes loyalty members on July 8 and 9, 2026, before opening to all travelers on July 10. The public booking window runs through July 20, 2026, giving travelers a limited time to secure discounted cruises for the remainder of 2026 and into 2027.
What Is Included in Norwegian Cruise Line's Semi Annual Sale
The headline offer is 50% off the base cruise fare on every Norwegian Cruise Line sailing. On select itineraries, guests booking a balcony cabin or higher also receive complimentary pre paid gratuities, representing savings of at least $20 per person per day. The promotion can also be combined with NCL's Free at Sea package. Guests can customize their cruise vacation by adding benefits such as unlimited open bar, specialty dining, shore excursion credits, and Wi Fi. Together, the Semi Annual Sale and Free at Sea create significant savings on both the cruise fare and onboard experience.
Marc Kazlauskas, president of Norwegian Cruise Line, described the promotion as the best deal of the season, highlighting the cruise line's destinations, onboard experience, and freestyle cruising concept as reasons for travelers to book now.
Cruise Destinations Included in the NCL Semi Annual Sale
The Semi Annual Sale applies across Norwegian Cruise Line's worldwide cruise collection, including Caribbean cruises, Bahamas cruises, Alaska cruises, Mediterranean cruises, Northern Europe cruises, and Mexican Riviera cruises.
Caribbean and Bahamas Cruises
Norwegian Cruise Line offers Caribbean cruises from several popular homeports, including Miami, Port Canaveral, Galveston, New York City, New Orleans, and Philadelphia. Travelers can choose from four night and five night Bahamas cruises aboard Norwegian Getaway and Norwegian Joy, as well as seven night Caribbean cruises on some of the newest ships in the fleet. Norwegian Aqua and Norwegian Luna operate seven day Eastern Caribbean and Western Caribbean itineraries from Miami and Port Canaveral. Norwegian Viva sails seven night cruises from Galveston with visits to Cozumel, Costa Maya, Roatan, and Harvest Caye, Norwegian Cruise Line's private resort destination in Belize.
Guests planning ahead can also book Norwegian Aura, the cruise line's newest ship launching in June 2027. Beginning that summer, the ship will offer seven night Caribbean cruises from Miami, and these sailings are included in the Semi Annual Sale.
Great Stirrup Cay
Many Caribbean and Bahamas cruises include a visit to Great Stirrup Cay, Norwegian Cruise Line's private island in the Bahamas. The island is undergoing a major expansion in 2026. Great Tides Waterpark is scheduled to open on September 4, 2026, featuring nearly six acres of attractions, including 19 waterslides, cliff jumps, an almost 800 foot Wandering River, and Splash Cay, a 9,000 square foot children's splash area. Already open are the Great Life Lagoon with two swim up bars, Splash Harbor for families, and the adults only Vibe Shore Club. Cruises visiting Great Stirrup Cay after September 4 will be able to enjoy the complete island experience.
Alaska Cruises
Norwegian Cruise Line offers seven night Alaska cruises from Seattle aboard Norwegian Bliss, Norwegian Encore, and Norwegian Joy. These Alaska cruise itineraries visit Juneau, Ketchikan, and Skagway while also featuring glacier viewing and opportunities to experience Alaska's wildlife. Discounted Alaska cruises are available through fall 2026 and again during the spring 2027 season.
Mexican Riviera Cruises
